Teaching Assistant - Part Time

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a difference in their education? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in NG17.

Position Details:

• Location: NG17
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule:
  • Monday – Thursday: 12:15 PM – 3:15 PM (Foundation 2)
  • Friday: 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM (KS1)
• Pay Rate: Competitive and dependent on experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for students, focusing on their individual learning and development needs.
• Assist within the classroom, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement and adapt learning plans.
• Encourage and motivate pupils to achieve their potential.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting, preferably in Foundation Stage or KS1.
• A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
