Are you looking for a new Teaching Assistant position for this academic year?
One of our partner SEN Trusts are looking to appoint a number of SEN Teaching Assistants on a permanent basis for one of their schools in the Berkeley area of South Gloucestershire. This is on a full time, permanent basis and you are not required to have previous Teaching Assistant experience, although this would be advantageous.

Role: Teaching Assistant (no previous experience required)
Location: Berkeley, Gloucestershire
Start: ASAP
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term time only, permanent
Annual Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30 actual salary - dependant on experience and qualifications, Plus £1000 Welcome bonus

Successful candidate qualities:
- Whilst previous experience isn’t essential; the ability and desire to build a professional & trusted relationship with our young people is.
- A GCSE (or equivalent qualification) pass in Maths and English (Essential)
- Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
- Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
- Be positive and creative in meeting pupils’ needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
