Teaching Assistant-Level 3
Job description
A primary school in Newcastle is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This full-time position will be based within Key Stage 1 in a Year 1 classroom. In this role, you will support the class teacher in the whole-class environment and lead small intervention groups in Phonics and Mathematics.
The school’s ethos is centered around providing the highest quality education for each individual child. The team works collaboratively to offer personalized learning within a broad, balanced, and creative curriculum. Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Committed to providing high-quality support to children of all abilities and needs
- Strong behavior management skills
- Punctual with excellent attendance
- Able to commit fully to the role and school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
