Teaching Assistant

Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Wokingham

Are you passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on students’ learning? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary school in Wokingham.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and support students in their learning journey.
• Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with additional learning needs, helping them to achieve their potential.
• Aid in managing classroom behavior and creating a positive, productive learning environment.
• Support students in completing assigned work, encouraging independence and critical thinking.
• Monitor student progress and report any concerns to the class teacher to ensure students’ needs are met.

Key Requirements:

• A passion for education and a desire to help students succeed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with young people.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting students in their learning.
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is beneficial, but not essential.
• A willingness to learn, with ongoing training and professional development opportunities provided.
