Role: Teaching Assistant
- Location: Primary Schools across Weymouth
- Contract Type: Flexible (Full-time or Part-time)
- Working Days: Flexible, we can work around your availability
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering lessons to small groups and individual students
- Provide support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism and Global Delay
- Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Support students in building their confidence and achieving their potential
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to monitor progress and adapt learning activities
- Foster emotional and social development in the classroom
Preferable Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism and Global Delay
- Ability to adapt to different learning needs and provide tailored support
- A calm, patient, and positive approach to working with children
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff
- Relevant experience or qualifications in education (desirable, but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
