The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our committed team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students’ learning, helping them to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers, other support staff, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Our students have a range of special needs including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), Autism (ASC) and other complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special needs
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons.
- Support with personal care
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student engagement.
- Monitor and report on student progress, ensuring their needs are met effectively
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting students’ learning and wellbeing.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to adapt to different situations.
- Is eager to collaborate as part of a supportive team.
- Experience working with children or adults with special needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
