A part-time opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting in Wareham.
This role involves working with students aged 11 to 18 who may face barriers to learning due to social, emotional or mental health needs. The school offers a nurturing and therapeutic approach, placing student wellbeing at the heart of everything they do. With smaller class sizes and a strong staff network, this is a truly rewarding place to work where no two days are the same.
What the Role Involves
This is a part-time position with working hours of 10am to 3pm, with varied finish times depending on the day.
You’ll be supporting students both inside and outside the classroom, helping them access learning, manage behaviour and build the confidence they need to thrive.
Your ability to build positive relationships will be key, as you offer consistency, encouragement, and tailored support to meet each pupil’s individual needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
