What’s the Role All About?

As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you'll be the right-hand person to teachers, working with students to help them succeed both academically and personally. Your day will include:

  • Supporting students in lessons, working with individuals or small groups to ensure they fully understand the content
  • Helping with classroom management to keep everything running smoothly, while promoting a positive, focused learning environment
  • Encouraging students to stay engaged, ask questions, and unlock their potential
  • Assisting with the development of student skills and building confidence in all subjects

  • Organised & Proactive: You’ll help teachers with classroom activities, administrative tasks, and ensuring the lesson goes off without a hitch!

Important Info:

  • Successful candidates will be subject to reference checks.
  • You must hold an enhanced Child DBS or be willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
