Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a successful and fully inclusive secondary school that prides itself on being the heart of its community. The role:

• Work with individuals and small groups of children under the supervision of the teacher including the delivery of programmes of work and implementation of EHCPs and SEN provisions.
• Establishing a supportive and motivational relationship with the pupil concerned.
• Supervise and support students ensuring their safety and access to learning.
• Establishing good relationships with students, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.
• Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students.
• Organising and collecting resources for the lessons.
• Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons.
• Use enthusiasm to encourage children to become involved in lessons.

Ideal candidates:

• Previous experience working with young people and children.
• Considerable behavioural management skills with experience.
• Have a passion for the students well-being as well as commitment for safeguarding measures.
• Organized, flexible and reliable.
