The team at Teaching Personnel Birmingham are seeking to employ a passionate and dedicated teaching assistant/learning support assistant on a full time basis at a mainstream secondary school in Solihull.
The OFSTED rated "Good" school are renowned for being an established school with positive behaviour and outcomes for pupils.
Hours: Full Time (part time and flexible working opportunities also available)
Pay: £85-100 per day (dependent upon experience)
The Ideal Candidate:
- Relevant teaching assistant qualifications (L1/2/3)
- Previous experience working as a TA/LSA in a UK secondary school
- Knowledge and experience in supporting children with special educational needs
- Ability to work autonomously and be pro active
- Communicate effectively with staff members and children alike
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Support the pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Support pupils with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, behavioural issues
- Provide specialist and tailored care and education to the most vulnerable pupils within each class
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote best outcomes for individuals
- Communicate positively with parents to ensure continuity of care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
