Job Description:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of individual students and small groups
- Providing one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
- Assisting in the preparation of classroom materials and resources
- Supporting students during activities, projects, and interventions to enhance their learning experience
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education and support
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification
- Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with diverse needs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with a proactive and positive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
