Teaching Personnel are a well-established educational support organisation that partners with multiple client schools in the Sheffield area. Our mission is to provide high-quality support to schools and help students achieve their full potential. We are currently seeking several enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our team and support our client schools.
Job Description:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work in various schools across the Sheffield area, supporting teachers and helping students with their learning and development. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are considering a career in education and want to gain valuable classroom experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
- Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Provide feedback to teachers about student progress and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- A recent graduate with a strong academic background.
- Passionate about education and working with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Adaptable and willing to work in different schools and environments.
- Previous experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
