The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting our students and teaching staff in delivering high-quality education and promoting an inclusive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons.

Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs) and assocaited difficulties.

Assist in classroom management and create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.

Support students with their social, emotional, and academic development.

Prepare and organise resources for lessons and activities.

Help monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH or special needs.

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are an advantage but not mandatory.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
