What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting children with literacy and numeracy skills – subject knowledge is essential.
• Leading intervention work with small groups or individual pupils.
• Assisting the teacher with classroom activities and providing general support.
• Preparing resources for lessons and maintaining a tidy, organised learning environment.

Role Details

• Location: Newport
• Pay: £83.85 per day
• Start Date: January 2025
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

What You’ll Need

• An Enhanced DBS (Child Only) check – we can assist you in completing this!
• Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council), a mandatory requirement in Wales.
• Prior experience working with children, either professionally or personally, is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
