About the Role

We are seeking a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our team, with a primary focus on supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and general classroom assistance. This role involves working closely with the class teacher to create a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support for Reception students, particularly those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
• Assist in delivering personalized learning activities to address the unique needs of each child.
• Support classroom management, including resource preparation and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Encourage independence, engagement, and confidence among young learners.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with early years or primary-aged children, preferably in an ALN support role.
• Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff.
• Essential Documents:
• The right to work in the UK (Passport or Birth Certificate).
• Valid proof of address (e.g., Driving License, utility bill, or bank statement).
• Referee details (Character references accepted if you lack prior work experience).
• A child-only DBS (we can assist you in obtaining this).
