Teaching Assistant – Newbury
Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in education? Teaching Personnel is seeking Teaching Assistants to support schools in Newbury. Whether you have experience or are looking to start your career in education, we want to hear from you!
Job Details:
Location: Newbury and surrounding areas
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time & part-time available
Pay: Starting from £89 per day, paid weekly
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils
- Assisting with learning, behaviour management, and personal development
- Helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
✔ A positive and proactive attitude
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
