Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Graduate Teaching Assistants to work at one of our client schools in Manchester. There will be the opportunity for the right candidates to progress onto permanent teaching positions, through Teaching Personnel once you have become a fully qualified teacher.
For this position, you must be willing to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check, as well as provide two employment-based references that cover the last two years of your work history.
This position will be full-time based on a 6.5 hour working day, and it is due to start in September at the start of the academic year.
The salary for this position will be between £385 and £450 per week dependent on the requirements of the school.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the pupils who are struggling the most academically. You should be able to support them in their academic development by working in small groups, answering any questions, and ensuring that they have properly grasped the lessons that are being taught.
Our client school is looking for multiple Teaching Assistants across multiple subject backgrounds including Maths, English and the sciences. If you are looking to gain experience in a school, this is an ideal opportunity for you.
The school is performing very well academically, with minimal behavioural issues to deal with.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
