Job description
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, with a passion for supporting primary students in Schools within the Trafford area. Teaching personnel current opportunities available for Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, to join our team and make a real difference to young people’s lives by delivering high quality education.
The role
- Develop strong lines of communication with teachers, to help the development of each individual pupil.
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment offering guidance and emotional support for students.
- To supervise and provide support for identified students, in 1:1, group or whole class situations, ensuring their safety and access to learning.
- Track and monitor the progress of students, offering feedback to teachers, to ensure they are reaching key development milestones.
Requirements
- Relevant work experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, particularly with secondary age pupils.
- Strong empathy, patience and a genuine passion for helping pupils development and succeed
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team adapting to meet he unique needs of every student.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
