Teaching Assistant
We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to work one-on-one with a student who requires additional academic support at a client secondary school based in Ardwick starting in January. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special needs and possess strong communication skills.
The school is based in Ardwick, is very accessible for candidates using public transport, being a short walk from the nearest bus/tram stops. There is also a large onsite car park for staff members to utilize.
The successful applicant can expect to receive up to £1800 per month, depending on experience. The school also provides professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction to the student to support their academic progress
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with parents
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience, understanding, and flexibility

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
