Teaching Assistant
Job description
Are you looking to join a dynamic and caring school where your passion for supporting young learners will be valued and nurtured? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to become part of our “Good” OFSTED-rated primary school in Macclesfield.
At our school, we pride ourselves on creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and excited about their learning. Our team of experienced teachers and support staff work collaboratively to provide the best educational experience possible, fostering both academic and personal growth in each child. We are deeply committed to ensuring that every pupil reaches their full potential, and we need someone who shares that vision.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of students across the school. You’ll work closely with teachers to help deliver engaging lessons, both in the classroom and in smaller group settings. Your role will be integral to creating an environment where all children, including those with additional needs, can flourish.
In addition to providing academic support, you will also be responsible for supporting the social and emotional development of our pupils. You will help them build confidence, manage their emotions, and work cooperatively with their peers. This may involve one-to-one support for children who need extra help, as well as leading small groups on specific learning tasks. The role requires patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in the well-being of every child.
Our school is known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, where staff work together to ensure that everyone feels valued and supported. With a focus on both academic excellence and personal development, we aim to create well-rounded individuals who are ready to succeed in whatever challenges come their way. As part of our team, you’ll receive ongoing training and development to help you grow professionally and feel supported in your role.
If you are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and working in a collaborative and supportive environment, we would love to hear from you. Join our team and help us continue to provide a high-quality education that nurtures and inspires every child.
