  • Specialist provision- Liverpool
  • Hours/Days: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-4.00pm (Term-Time only)
  • Competitive rate £85-£100 daily
  • Start date- As soon as possible.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' educational and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with challenging behaviour.
  • Implementing strategies to help students manage their behaviour and emotions.
  • Encouraging a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Supporting students with their academic and social progress.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.

The ideal candidate would be somebody who is able to work well with children who can sometimes display challenging behaviour. Students who attend the school have in some way struggled in mainstream school. They need educators to have patience and be able to support them with any additional needs they may have.

It is important that you are able to build up strong, trustworthy bonds with students who may need some additional support. Students who attend the school may have in some way experienced trauma and may have additional needs such as adhd, asd and autism.

They are looking for an experienced Teaching assistant who can work independently and use their own initiative to help guide and support the students in the best way possible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
