Varied and Rewarding Responsibilities

As a teaching assistant with us, you will be involved in a range of fulfilling tasks, including:

  • Small Group Support: Work with small groups within lessons to provide additional support for their learning.
  • Individualized Attention: Take small groups and individual pupils out of the classroom to focus on specific areas.
  • SEN Support: Provide one-to-one support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Collaborative Work: Take directions from teachers and demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within groups.
  • Subject Expertise: Have confidence in supporting students in subjects like maths and English.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role should:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or Higher: Possess the necessary educational qualifications.
  • Have Relevant Experience: Demonstrate experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting, through either voluntary or paid work.
  • Confidence in Subject Support: Feel confident in supporting students in maths and English.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
