Teaching Assistant Role – Honiton

Do you have a passion for supporting young learners? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Honiton area.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both teachers and students in their day-to-day activities. Whether assisting with classroom tasks, providing one-on-one support, or helping students with special educational needs, your work will be essential in creating a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers in lesson preparation and classroom management
- Providing individual and small group support to students
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
- A positive and flexible attitude towards learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
