Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a beautiful secondary school in Henley-in-Arden to recruit a teaching assistant on a full time basis.

The school are ideally seeking an individual who has relevant experience within a school and feels confident supporting children with special educational needs, where required.

 

Location: Henley-in-Arden (B95)

Hours: Full Time

Rate of Pay: £85-100 (per day, dependent upon experience)

 

Ideal Person Specification:

- Relevant teaching assistant qualification (desired)

- Previous experience in a teaching assistant or support role

- GCSEs in English and Maths

- Experience supporting children with special educational needs

- Confident and approachable personality

- Knowledge of EHCPs and strategies to support children with additional needs is a bonus

 

Roles/Responsibilities:

- Assist children within the class with completing activities

- Support children on a 1:1 and small group basis

- Work with children closely running interventions to help with certain aspects of learning

- Communicate effectively with the class teacher and wider school community

- Uphold schools policies and procedures at all times

- Ensure safeguarding is at the centre of your practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
