KS2 Teaching Assistant - Haringey
A school local to Haringey are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Year 6 TA to join them as soon as possible. The school have a close community feel with plenty of opportunities for Professional Development. They are also one of the tops performing Primary Schools in Haringey for KS2 SAT’s.
The Position
Your role will involve supporting the Class Teacher in a lovely Year 6 Class with all aspects of the curriculum. Taking a lead to improve attainment in Maths, Reading and Writing will be core to this and will enable you to develop your own Teaching Skills. Ultimately preparing the students to gain excellent SAT’s results is the aim. This position would be ideal for someone looking to move into Teaching in the future!
Hours will be 8:30-4pm on Monday to Friday and it will be a long term contract until the end of the academic year if successful. Pay will be between GBP70-GBP90 per day depending on experience.
To Be Successful
Candidates with the following are more likely to be shortlisted:
- Undergraduates Degree or of Degree Calibre.
- Minimum of 1 Years’ experience working within KS2 (preferably Year 5 or 6).
- Basic understanding of SAT’s at KS2 level.
- Confident individual who is happy to work independently.
- Bubbly personality and someone who is happy to go the extra mile.
- Able to commit on a long term with the opportunity to go permanent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
