Position: Year 4 General Teaching Assistant
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: March 2025
Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Do you want to play a key role in the education of Year 4 students in a warm, welcoming school environment? We are looking for a motivated and dedicated General Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team in our school in Fareham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons to Year 4 students
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to enhance student learning
- Helping to create a positive and nurturing classroom environment
- Supporting students with their social, emotional, and academic development
- Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment
- Helping with the preparation of teaching resources
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Has experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
- Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping children succeed
- Works well as part of a team and has excellent communication skills
- Is adaptable and willing to take on a range of tasks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
