Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Primary)
Location: Exmouth, Devon

We are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support primary students in Exmouth. This role offers flexibility in hours and can be either part-time or full-time, providing an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on young learners while accommodating your schedule.

Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support primary students in their academic and social development. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide individualised support, assist with classroom management, and contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Learning: Assist students with their academic work, providing one-on-one or small group support as needed.
- Classroom Assistance: Help with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Behaviour Management: Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Individualised Support: Work with students who have special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) to ensure they receive tailored support.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and other staff members to support student progress.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as maintaining student records and preparing reports.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Previous experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Education: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively as part of a team; strong organizational skills.
- Attributes: Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
