Teaching Assistant
Area: Doncaster
Daily Rate: £77-90
The Sheffield Primary Team of Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to support the fantastic primary schools that we work with around the Doncaster area. We are searching for passionate and enthusiastic individuals who are comfortable with Early Years based play and learning, as well as KS1 and KS2.
Role responsibilities:
- Working under the guidance of senior leadership to implement interventions and 1:1 work programmes (both in and out of the classroom)
- Collaborating with the class teacher to assist the effective delivery of the lesson plans
- Helping plan and set up classroom and outdoor activities to facilitate learning in alignment with the curriculum
- Maintaining good classroom behaviour and minimising disruptions
- Ensuring that pupils are engaged in the class and keep on track with work
The ideal candidate will have:
- NVQ 3 For Teaching Assistants (or equivalent) (Non-essential)
- Other relevant training, eg. Phonics & Maths Interventions, Makaton, Team Teach, Additional Language fluency (Non-essential)
- First Aid Training (Non-essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
