Teaching Assistant/s
Start: September 2023
Contract: Temporary and Permanent positions
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a secondary school located in Chichester, graded ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted. The school are seeking several teaching assistants from September 2023, to join the learning support department.
The successful candidates will be expected to provide support to individual students who have special educational needs, and learning and behavioural difficulties in groups, and supporting individuals on a one-to-one basis. The school also require a teaching assistant to join the specialist provision within the learning support department, which may involve intimate care.
Experience of working with young people with special educational needs or experience of social communication difficulties would be beneficial, but not essential. The school are looking for passionate people who have a strong desire to support young people overcome their barriers to learning. Candidates must have a high standard of communication, numeracy and literacy and be able to promote these effectively to ensure we deliver outstanding academic outcomes for our young people. GCSE grade 4 (C and above) in English and Mathematics are essential for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
