Teaching Personnel are currently in partnership with a primary school located in Chester. The school is in a great location with excellent transport links between Nantwich, Wrexham, and Ellesmere Port. They are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join the team as a full-time KS1 Teaching Assistant.
- Immediate start upon registering with Teaching Personnel
- Opportunity to earn £85-£110 per day (depending on experience)
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of teaching materials and resources
- Working 1-1 or in smaller groups with students who require additional academic support with reading and maths
- Supervising children during break and lunch times
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and ensuring the schools behaviour policies are followed
What we are looking for:
- Safeguarding Training (must be done through Teaching Personnel)
- Previous experience within a primary school setting or working with children is preferred, but not essential for this role
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with other members of staff
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
