Teaching Assistant – Welsh Medium Primary School
Cardiff | From £419 per week (DOE) | Full-time, Starting April 2025
We are currently supporting one of our partner Welsh-medium primary schools in Cardiff with their recruitment process for two Teaching Assistant positions starting in April. These roles involve supporting the general classroom as well as providing 1:1 support for children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
✔️ A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or experience working 1:1 is advantageous.
✔️ Fluent Welsh speaker who is confident supporting pupils in the medium of Welsh.
✔️ A passion for education, the Welsh language and culture, and the ability to build strong relationships with staff and parents.

Essential Requirements:
Enhanced DBS – We can assist with the application.
EWC registration (Education Workforce Council).
Two professional references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
