Teaching Assistant Vacancy
Teaching Personnel is working on behalf of a thriving and inclusive secondary school in Burry Port, dedicated to providing high-quality education and support to their students. The school are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering lessons, assist students with their learning, and help create a positive classroom atmosphere.
Position – Teaching Assistant
Location – Burry Port, SA16
Hours – Full time, Monday – Friday
Salary - £83-100 daily rate (varied on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in their learning, both in class and through small groups or 1:1 interventions.
- Assist teachers in preparing resources and managing classroom activities.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in school-wide activities and contribute to a positive school culture.
What we’re looking for:
- Passion for education and desire to inspire young children.
- Experience working with young people in an education setting (desirable but not essential).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Enthusiasm to participate in continuous professional development.
- Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
