Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher in preparing instructional materials and resources
• Support pupils with individual or group tasks, ensuring they understand lesson objectives
• Help manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment
• Provide support to pupils with varying learning needs, promoting inclusivity
• Monitor and track pupils progress, reporting observations to the teacher
• Assist with classroom organisation and other administrative duties as needed
• Collaborate with the teacher and other staff members to ensure pupil needs are met

Key Qualifications:

• Strong interest in pursuing a career in education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Desire to contribute to young peoples development and well-being
• Relevant educational background or coursework is a plus, but not required

Desirable Skills:

• Basic knowledge of classroom management strategies
• A caring, empathetic approach to working with students
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
