Bristol Secondary School Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about working with young people on their education and personal development? Teaching Personnel are currently looking for Secondary School Teaching Assistants to work closely with Class Teachers and students to provide vital support within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students aged 11-16, both 1:1 and in small groups in academic and personal development.
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and time management.
- Creating a safe environment that promotes student engagement and builds confidence.
- Support the teacher in assessing and applying individualised strategies for students to monitor progress.

- Enthusiastic and Approachable: Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
- Knowledgeable in Core Subjects: Confidence in English, Maths, and Science (GCSE grades A*-C).
- Team Players: Able to work closely and effectively in a large, supportive team.
- Great Communicators: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivational: Able to inspire students to reach their full potential with passion, a positive attitude and patience.
- Organized and Flexible: Self-motivated and reliable, with the adaptability for various needs of the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
