Flexible working hours – ideal for students

Daily rates – between £84 - £90

Are you looking to start a career in education? Well we are seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) This role will be working with students aged between 5-16. The ideal candidate for this role would be someone with previous professional or personal experience with SEN or PMLD, and is also passionate about education and making a difference to children’s lives

What you’ll do

• Support children with PMLD either in small groups or one-on-one
• Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities tailored to the needs of the students.
• Help communicate with the students who have difficulty communicating
• Helping to create and safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

Who we are looking for?

• Someone who is passionate for working with children with additional needs
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to adapt and be versatile to each individual students needs
• Experience is preferred but not required, as long as you have the passion and determination we’d love to hear from you!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
