Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school in Dorset.

As a Teaching Assistant, the successful applicant will assist with the delivery of lessons, provide one-on-one support for students, and help manage classroom activities. The role will involve supporting students with varying learning needs, helping to create inclusive learning experiences, and contributing to the overall academic and personal development of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery.
  • Providing individual or small group support to students with specific learning needs.
  • Assisting in the preparation and organisation of teaching materials.
  • Encouraging and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
  • Maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
