About the Role:

We are currently looking for a committed and energetic Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in Bournemouth. This is a wonderful opportunity to work throughout the school, supporting students both individually and in small groups. Your role will be crucial in aiding children’s learning and managing classroom behaviour alongside the class teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with their learning activities
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour
  • Work 1:1 with students and in small groups
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to create a positive learning environment

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:15pm
  • This position offers the potential to become a permanent member of the school staff after a successful probation period.

Requirements:

  • Passion for education and working with young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
