Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: NP12
Contract Type: Monday – Friday (8:30 – 3:30)
Start Date: 2nd of December 2024
About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant, with a specific focus on Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and general classroom assistance. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes learning and growth for all students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class support for students, particularly those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities, meeting the unique needs of each child.
- Support general classroom management, preparing resources, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Help create independence, engagement, and confidence among young learners.
Requirements:
- Experience with early years or primary-aged children, ideally in an ALN support role.
- Compassionate and patient, with strong communication and collaborative skills.
- The right to work in the UK (Passport or Birth Certificate).
- A valid proof of address (Driving License, utility bill, or bank statement).
- Valid referee details (Character references accepted if you have no prior work experience).
- A child-only DBS (we can assist in attaining this).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
