Teaching Personnel are working alongside several schools within birmingham to support children with challenging behaviours. We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants who are experienced working with SEMH, ASC and other special educational needs.
This role will include working closely, usually on a 1:1 basis, with the specific students supporting their educational, social, and emotional needs. This role may suit someone from a health and social care background as well as those with experience of challenging behaviour settings, psychology graduates, 1:1 support, sports coaches, and mentoring backgrounds.
The ideal candidate:
- Work effectively as part of a team within the classroom, ensuring the children are looked after and learning from the content delivered.
- experience supporting children with SEN and their associated learning difficulties.
- understand the social, emotional, and academic needs of those with SEN.
- commitment to the building and maintaining positive relationships.
- a warm and friendly positive approach in the classroom
- be caring, patient and understanding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
