Primary Schools across Birmigham are looking for dedicated and passionate primary teachers to join their team. Teaching personnel are working closely with these primary schools to provide them with top quality teachers who are committed, enthusiastic and ready for a new challenge.
It is essential to have the relevant teaching experience and strong classroom management skills.
Roles and responsibilities
- planning & delivering lessons as well as marking and assessing KS2 pupils
- Monitoring, recording, and reporting attainment, development, and progress
- managing behaviour in the classroom
-preparing students for SATs
- the ability to “get stuck straight in”
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a QTS or PGCE
- Is confident planning, marking, managing the classroom and delivering interactive and fun content in line with the curriculum
- genuine interest in education and child development
- a committed and professional attitude which extends outside your classroom, into the wider school environment
- a clear and confident understanding of KS2 curriculum
- have the relevant UK teaching experience
Long term and short-term placement opportunities are available, ranging from one term to a full academic year. The successful candidate will be recruited on a trial basis at first, with the opportunities for a long-term role to be established. Schools encourage familiarity for its student and staff bond, so someone looking for a long-term role will be ideal. Safeguarding training will be provided along with additional CPD courses throughout the year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
