We currently have a need for Teaching Assistants to work at a school in Berkshire. This school caters for young people between the ages of 4-19 with special educational needs including MLD (mild learning difficulties), SLD (severe learning difficulties) and PMLD (profound and multiple learning difficulties). 

Classes have a small number of pupils in with at least one teacher and two TA’s per class. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you would be expected to do the following:

-          Support the class teacher and the students within the classroom

-          Work off site with students on school trips 

-          Work with small groups of students or on a 1:1 basis within the classroom environment

 

The school are looking for:

-          Individuals that have experience supporting students with special needs within an educational setting

-          Someone that is resilient and flexible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
