Teaching and Learning Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching and Learning Assistant to help provide high-quality support and make a difference in the lives of young learners!

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in their learning across different subjects, both individually and in small groups.
• Assist teachers with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Help students with specific learning needs or those who require extra support to reach their full potential.
• Encourage and motivate students to engage with lessons and participate in activities.
• Monitor and track students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and other staff as necessary.
• Help create and prepare learning materials and resources for the classroom.

What We’re Looking For:

• A passion for education and helping young people succeed.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and staff.
• Ability to work flexibly and effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students.
• Experience working with children or in a school environment is beneficial, but not essential.
• A strong desire to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
