Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a school in mid-Cornwall who are looking for a Science Teacher to join their team. This is a permanent position, which offers an educator the opportunity to trial the school on a temporary basis, before applying for a permanent role. We are looking for someone who is available full-time, and is looking for a long-term or permanent role, and the school are happy to consider interest from educators looking for either. The school are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

We are looking for someone reliable, enthusiastic, with a passion for the education sector. Educators must be excellent communicators, offering feedback and support to students. The ability to motivate is crucial to the role, as well as being able to inspire students and encourage their development. Ideally, the school are looking for a teacher who is happy to take on a full role, including planning and marking, and therefore are happy to pay the successful educator to scale.

Educators will be required to have a Child Workforce DBS on the update service prior to being place in a school, however, support with this can be offered during the registration process. Candidates applying should have excellent knowledge of policies including Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Teaching and Learning, and Equal Opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
