Science Teacher

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be expected to inspire and motivate students, helping them to develop a love for science and achieve excellent academic results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the science curriculum and best teaching practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. NQT acceptable
- A degree in a relevant science subject.
- Experience teaching science at the secondary school level.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
