Teacher of Science (Chemistry Specialism)

Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

Seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science with a specialism in Chemistry to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Science Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach A-level Chemistry for suitably qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Chemistry and general Science.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum.
- Support and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
- Participate in departmental and whole-school activities.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
