Job description

A diverse and vibrant secondary school in North Bristol is seeking a creative Music Teacher who will support the school’s endeavour to create an engaging, purposeful and inspiring environment that inspires all students.

Whether you’re an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), the school welcomes your enthusiasm and commitment.

The role:

  • Delivering engaging KS3 and 4 lessons that meet curriculum objectives
  • Managing student behaviour, ensuring the classroom environment is safe and supportive of learning
  • Reporting to parents and other staff members when necessary
  • Marking and assessing the work of students

The ideal candidate:

  • Holds QTS Status
  • Has the ability to promote high quality teaching and learning
  • Can support in the promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively
  • Has excellent subject knowledge coupled with an ability to deliver inspirational lessons.
  • Has experience working with KS3 and 4

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
