Location: Manchester
Job Type: Permanent / Full Time
Salary: £30,000 - £41,333 Per Annum
French and Spanish

Teaching personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with an outstanding community school with Primary and Secondary pupils. All pupils in KS3 study French or Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure any documentation produced is to a high standard and is in line with the brand style
  • Be aware and comply with all policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to the appropriate person
  • Participate in training and other learning activities as required
  • develop schemes of work and resources to enable all pupils to gain access to the curriculum
  • ensure effective teaching strategies are in place
  • monitor and improve the quality of teaching and learning
  • set targets and to plan for improvement, development and enrichment.

Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent academic background in MFL
  • Qualified Teacher and training in the teaching of MFL.
  • Successful teaching experience which has demonstrated good practice in teaching Spanish and French and achieving high standards at Key Stage 3 and GCSE. Must be able to deliver Spanish and French at KS4. A second language could be beneficial.
  • Understanding of the contribution of MFL to whole curriculum skills such as Literacy, Numeracy and ICT.
  • The ability to create a learning environment in which all pupils are encouraged and are expected to achieve highly.

This school is based in Manchester, close to local transport. Parking is available on site.
