Job Title: History Teacher

Contract: Full Time Temp to Perm
Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join our dynamic and thriving partner Secondary School located in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality history education to students, fostering a love for the subject and inspiring intellectual curiosity. You will be joining and OFSTED Good School, renowned for staff retention and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective history lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation and critical thinking.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Contribute to the development of the history curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and school objectives.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, such as history clubs or academic competitions, to enrich the students' learning experience.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in History or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching history at the secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
