Job Role: Teacher of Girls' Physical Education

Location: Birmingham

Daily Rate: £140 - £200 per day

*This position will be ideal for experienced teachers or ECTs. *

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of a Secondary School in the Bartley Green area of Birmingham. The school are looking to appoint a Teacher of Girls' PE to support the head of department teaching various sports throughout different year groups. 

Requirements of the role:

  • Qualified as a PE Teacher with QTS / PGCE.
  • Experience of working with 11-18yr old pupils within the UK.
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS which is signed up to the update service, or willing to apply for one.
  • A passion for sport and exercise.
  • An enthusiastic role model for pupils.
  • Good behaviour management.
  • Flexible and reliable.
  • A good communicator.
  • Willing to wprk along side the head of department.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
  • Teach students various physical activities, sports, and fitness exercises.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students during physical activities.
  • Organise and supervise sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
