Location: Battersea, Greater London, England

Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time

Salary: £165 - £210 Per day

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Part-time Geography Teacher to join our team. This role requires teaching high-quality Geography lessons at KS3-KS4 with the potential to teach A-Level in the future. We also expect the successful candidate to provide excellent pastoral care to students and be flexible in teaching other subjects as needed.

Job Duties:

  • Teach high-quality Geography lessons at KS3-KS4 level
  • Potential to teach A-Level Geography in the future
  • Provide excellent pastoral care to students
  • Be flexible in teaching other subjects as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Geography or related field

Education:

  • Degree in Geography or related field

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching Geography at KS3-KS4 level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum at KS3-KS4 level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide pastoral care to students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience teaching A-Level Geography

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time role (3 days per week)
  • Based in Battersea, Greater London
  • Salary range of £165 - £210 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
